Farmer’s Market Fashion

Every Thursday morning during the summer, my town puts on a Farmer’s Market.

It started off normal, until I met some hooligans along the way…

And so, a photo shoot with Charlie Olsen and Noel Williams ensued.

Glitzy Glam

My friend from across the country just sent me this gift of a personalized hairbrush and compact mirror. I really like the fact that the compact mirror lights up. Yes, there is an “M” on both of them, but for privacy reasons I won’t give away my real name.

Both of these products can be found at http://shopglitzyglam.com.

Summer Heat and Riding Boots

Here is the final part! Paige was smart and brought clothing appropriate for walking around in 80 degree weather. For some reason I thought jeans and a sweater would be great. I tell myself that I did it for my blog – but honestly, I should have waited until the fall. Anyway, here are the pictures!

And here is what I wore: (Details will be provided at the end)

I was nearly dying at this point.

The “we did it!” picture.

At the end of these posts, I always want to say, “Thanks for watching!” Except that doesn’t make sense. Thanks for viewing? Wait, is it my favorite day of the week? Yes.

Happy Monday!

That was sarcasm.

We Ride Horses

Here is Part 2 of my photo shoot with Paige Ridly! After a somewhat tedious outfit change, we decided to change locations to the rodeo arena. We observed a girl being trained to ride a horse, and marveled at the intensity of the trainer. We agreed that we could never do that, but decided to assume the identities of horse riders anyway. Hence the title. Once again, Paige amazes me with her wardrobe. Enjoy!

This is possibly the cutest crop top I have ever seen. Unfortunately, she got it at Laguna Beach, which I am not visiting any time soon. This would be a great outfit to wear to an interview, dinner party, or any other formal occasion over the summer.

Romp It!

This is Part 1 of a 3 part photo shoot. Miss Paige Ridly and I spent the afternoon walking about trails and horse stables taking pictures like the fashionistas we are.

Shall we begin?

Image

I personally think that this romper rocks. I mean, shorts and a tank top in one? I think yes.

Image

Isn’t she beautiful?

When your belt is too long, this is how to tie it so that the end doesn’t hang or stick out.

Gray, White, and Pink – Overcast Days

Overcast days are my absolute favorite. They instantly put me in a good mood, so I decided to dress up a bit. To mimic the weather, I chose a gray and white striped dress, and included the pink belt it came with to detract from the dreariness as a whole.

I added a pink cardigan to keep warm in the late morning chill. Also, it emphasizes the belt nicely.

Sundress

Sundress

Sundresses are an absolute must have. My friend bought me this for my birthday one year, and it still hasn’t gone out of style. During the summer, you should really just go all out with bright colors and prints (like these enormous flowers). This dress is actually a much longer length than most dresses these days, but I say neckline makes up for it. The back part of the dress is made out of a stretchy material so it is a very comfortable summer wear.
