OOTD: November 4th

OOTD: November 4th

Here is today’s outfit of the day. My thrifted orange cardigan is my new favorite piece to wear. The dress is also thrifted: from Goodwill. It’s more retro than anything, but I toned it down by adding a belt from Forever 21.

Romp It!

This is Part 1 of a 3 part photo shoot. Miss Paige Ridly and I spent the afternoon walking about trails and horse stables taking pictures like the fashionistas we are.

Shall we begin?

I personally think that this romper rocks. I mean, shorts and a tank top in one? I think yes.

Isn’t she beautiful?

When your belt is too long, this is how to tie it so that the end doesn’t hang or stick out.

Gray, White, and Pink – Overcast Days

Overcast days are my absolute favorite. They instantly put me in a good mood, so I decided to dress up a bit. To mimic the weather, I chose a gray and white striped dress, and included the pink belt it came with to detract from the dreariness as a whole.

I added a pink cardigan to keep warm in the late morning chill. Also, it emphasizes the belt nicely.

Happy Monday!

Early Morning at the Stables

Early Morning at the Stables

I don’t know about everyone else, but I get extremely self-conscious when it comes to taking photos of myself out in the open. I went to the horse stables early this morning with this intent, but I found it difficult to not concentrate on the people in near proximity to me. I kept wondering to myself if they could see me, and what they would think. When I was driving back home, I realized it wasn’t actually that big of a deal. This is something I want to do, so I’m going to do it. Yes, I’m trying to establish my own fashion blog, and yes, I am the model, deal with it.

Also, I know it’s obvious but I felt I should mention that I do edit my photos. Some people think that it’s false advertising to edit photos. I agree with that, but quite honestly, half of the fun in creating a fashion blog is the editing. So yes, this photo is edited. But hey, I think it looks a lot nicer and has a bit more character than the original. Especially if you don’t have a $5,000 camera.
