Last night I went to a Secret Santa party and instead of being the conventional ‘holiday festive,’ I added my own twist to Christmas wear. The three colors that generally signify Christmas are straight up red, green, and gold; instead, I chose for my color palette olive green, maroon, and pale yellow. I think that all of these colors go so much better together than the typical crayon colors. The main focus of this outfit is, of course, the pineapple dress. It adds a great Hawaiian twist to the holiday season without being obnoxious.
Because it even gets cold in SoCal, I paired this outfit with black tights, a brown cardigan, and an olive green jacket. Details will be listed down below.

Unless you’re the type of person who does their holiday shopping mid-summer, the mad rush of shopping has just begun. Stores are preparing for the notorious Black Friday and Cyber Monday, malls are playing the Carol of the Bells, and Bath and Body Works has all their Christmas scents lined up. There is a sort of hype in the air; an excitement, a warmth. If you plan on participating in the chaos that is Black Friday, or leftover Saturday, take some friends along, and dress up! Here are two outfit ideas for a girls’ night out of holiday shopping:
First and foremost: wear comfortable shoes. I prefer my combat boots. In addition, I am wearing one of my favorite summer dresses turned fall with my cut-out black tights and burnt orange cardigan. To add that touch of class, I am wearing my pearl necklace (always does the trick). Rebecca is wearing this great maroon and dark navy top from Target, black leggings, a gold collar necklace, and a gold dragon ear-cuff.
So there you have it: two different takes on fall outfits. I hope this is of some inspiration for the holidays 🙂

Here is today’s outfit of the day. My thrifted orange cardigan is my new favorite piece to wear. The dress is also thrifted: from Goodwill. It’s more retro than anything, but I toned it down by adding a belt from Forever 21.
Happy November! Today I am wearing some thrifted items: the orange cardigan and bird printed top. It’s a bit of warm November here, so I decided to wear my pleated Forever 21 skirt with thigh-length stockings and combat boots. This look seems to be popular on campus; I can’t help but conform!
More OOTD’s coming soon!
As made obvious by my wardrobe, I am far more prepared for Fall than any other season. I’m not sure how that happened, but I’m just more drawn to Fall fashion than anything else. Another thing I’m obsessed with? Boots. When the temperature starts to drop, I wear these nearly every day.
Also, I am not a jeans person. They just feel so uncomfortable compared to leggings and skirts/dresses! So, I dressed up this look with my black circle skirt (which I honestly think looks better with leggings than without). On top I am wearing a light pink tank top with a cropped, knitted cardigan that has pink accents. And that is all! Details will be provided below.
I hope this provides some inspiration for the Fall! Please comment below if you have any requests and/or feedback. Thanks!

I’ve been wanting to create a look like this for a while now – the only thing I seem to be missing is a feminine bow tie. Of all my back to school outfits, this look seems to be the most fitting. I decided to create a school uniform gone casual, starting off with a navy blue cardigan. The great thing about navy blue is that you can match it up with just about any color – greens, blues, reds, yellows, oranges… so long as there is a significant contrast in hue. I went for a light pink, pinstripe button down and rolled up the sleeves to create that chic, classy (no pun intended) student impression. I also wore my dark wash (straight-legged) jeans with some casual gray slip on shoes and a simple bracelet. And, last but not least, I wore my glasses – not because I’m too lazy to put on my contacts – but because what better way to look study-oriented than wearing glasses? Everybody knows this is true.
Well, that’s my look for today. Happy Monday!

This outfit is definitely geared towards comfort, mostly because of the leggings. My inspiration for this look: http://katie-mulchinock.tumblr.com/post/31747369253
The past few outfits have actually all been Pinterest inspired.
Also, am I the only one who has this problem on a daily basis?

Here is my first outfit from my back to school collection! I decided to jump right into fall colors – my favorite color scheme to work with. I just love the earthy, warm tones of fall.
I decided to layer this outfit because September weather is a little unpredictable since the temperature tends to change from morning to night. So, I layered a cardigan with a jean jacket. To make the look more stylish, I wore my striped pencil skirt from Forever 21, riding boots, and leg warmers. Leg warmers are a great accessory to have; they look great with boots, yet they are actually functional. Hope you liked the look; stay tuned for the rest of my back to school outfits!

Here is the final part! Paige was smart and brought clothing appropriate for walking around in 80 degree weather. For some reason I thought jeans and a sweater would be great. I tell myself that I did it for my blog – but honestly, I should have waited until the fall. Anyway, here are the pictures!
And here is what I wore: (Details will be provided at the end)
I was nearly dying at this point.
The “we did it!” picture.
At the end of these posts, I always want to say, “Thanks for watching!” Except that doesn’t make sense. Thanks for viewing? Wait, is it my favorite day of the week? Yes.
That was sarcasm.
